1915 : Gorgonzola, a small town in the Milan’s hinterland, among lots of craftsmen producers of classical dancing shoes there was…..the maternal grandfather AGOSTINO BERETTA, specialized in the production of pointe shoes for all the most world’s theatres!!!
1940-1945: owing to the second world war, they are forced to repair shoes waiting for better times.
1960: The company Beretta absorbs an English competing firm producing Pointe shoes in London. 1965: Export of dancing shoes in many world’s countries. 1966: Many craftsmen leave the classical shoes’ production to go to work in the big factories, but the granddad Agostino continues his passionate activity moving to a neighbouring country. (Pessano con Bornago). 1967: The daughter Tina starts to work together (Fabio’s mother). 1968: The future of the company and the actual holder: Fabio come into being. 1977: Granddad Agostino dies. 1989-2006: The grandson Fabio enters in the activity until today. |
